Test 1: Advanced Search Fields

• Actions:
  1. Go to the URL noted on the QA Testing Tasks page - be sure you're in the right profile
  2. Log in, and click on Search via the top menu bar
  3. Select Propagations from the record type drop down
  4. Enter QA TEST into the Reference NumberPropagation ID field in advanced search
     1. If the Reference Number field Propagation ID field does not appear, click on +Field at the bottom of the Search form and choose Reference Number from Propagation ID from the dropdown
  5. Click Search

• Expected:
  • A record whose reference number contains the phrase QA TEST PROPAGATION ALL FIELDS should appear in the search results (other records may appear as well)

• Actions:
  1. Repeat this test using the following fields and values; if the fields are not present in the form choose them from the +Field dropdown
     1. Propagation date - 1/1/2000
     2. Reason for propagation - class use
     3. Comment - QA TEST
     4. Location in nursery - QA TEST LOCATION 1
     5. Wounded - is checked
  2. Select all (AND) from the boolean drop down menu directly under the words Advanced Search
• Expected:
  • A record whose reference number contains the phrase QA TEST PROPAGATION ALL FIELDS should appear in the search results (other records may appear as well)

  2. Select Propagations from the record type drop down menu
  3. Select any (OR) from the boolean the boolean drop down menu right directly under the words Advanced Search Search
     1. 
  4. Enter thank you in the Comment search field
  5. Select class use in the Reason for propagation search dropdown
  6. Click Search at the bottom of the page

  1. Navigate back to Search
  2. Choose Propagations from the record type drop down menu
  3. Select all (AND) from the boolean the boolean drop down menu directly under the words Advanced Search
     1. 
  4. Enter thank you in the Comment search field
  5. Select class use from the Reason for propagation drop down menu
  6. Click Search at the bottom of the page

  • At the bottom of the form, select the +Group button and choose Activities Activity from the drop down menu
• Expected:
  • Under the header "In a single Approval group," a new Boolean selector and Field drop down menu will appear

  • Keep the Boolean selector on All
  • From the Field drop down menu, choose Type
  • Select applied treatment from the Type drop down menu
  • Click on the +Field button under the Type field
  • From the Field drop down menu, choose Propagule count
  • Select is from the Propagule count operator dropdown
  • Enter 12345 into the Propagule count field
  • Click Search at the bottom of the page 
• Expected:

  • Change the Boolean selector for your group to ANY
  • Click Search at the bottom of the page
