The Search button (for "Search Related Records") appears on the right sidebar of Object and Procedural records, in the Related Objects and Related Procedures sections of the sidebar. Clicking the Search button will pivot you to the Search results screen, with all related Cataloging or Procedural records displayed as if they had been searched for.

From there, you can browse the list or add some or all of the records to another Object or Procedural record. For example, you could use the Search button on a Loan Out record to view all the related Cataloging records as advanced search results, and then add those Cataloging records to a new Location record.

  • Action:
    • Create a new Object or Procedural record
    • Fill out any required fields
    • Save the record
    • Click the Search button Open button in the right panel in the right sidebar area for related Procedural records
  • Expected:
    • Pivot to a search results screen with no results
  • Action
    • Return to the Object or Procedural record by clicking the Identification number above the search results
    • Add two or more related Procedural records to your record via secondary tab or the Add button of the Related Procedures menu in the right sidebar
    • Click the Search button Open button of the Related Procedures menu in the right sidebar

Please note: If testing with Safari, in order to be able to tab to all the controls, you need to either hold down the option key while pressing tab, or check the option labeled "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" in Preferences/Advanced.

    • You should be able to do all the above using keyboard only
    • The tab-ordering and keys used should be logical
