Definition

The process of querying the system using specified criteria, and having results returned that meet those criteria.

Requirements

The system should allow the user to:

• Create search strings using Boolean logic
• Perform basic keyword searches, or construct complex searches
• Create range searches (e.g. for all artifacts created between 1900-1931)
• Perform wildcard searches
• Save search strings and/or search results
• Personalize search result sort order and display method
