CollectionSpace Roadmap 2026

The CollectionSpace roadmap is developed in collaboration with community members and the program team. Work is shared in four work categories (Now, Future, Needs Community Contribution, and Completed). The roadmap is built around Six Commitment Areas (Efficient Museum Practices, Data Best Practices, User Experience, Discoverability, Interoperability, and Secure and Open Architecture).

We are committed to solutions that promote the discoverability of published collections.
Interoperability
We are committed to pathways to promote interoperability with other applications.
Secure and Open Architecture
We are committed to open and secure architecture and best practices in software development.
