User Story Summaries are for capturing notes about broad user stories, or user story themes, related to a particular topic. These may be used as inspiration and source material for creating specific user stories, which may in turn be implemented in various system releases. Some of these broad stories, or themes, may not be implemented in the 1.0 release.

Location

User can record an object's home storage location

  • User can record an object's location manually
  • User can access a controlled list or storage location authority
  • User can access a geographic location authority

User can record an object's other storage location

  • User can record an object's location manually
  • User can access a controlled list or storage location authority
  • User can access a geographic location authority

User can record a date for a storage location change

User can view a history of an object's storage locations (note that this is separate from the standard "audit" view)

User can relocate a group of objects/specimen lots, including parts of a single object/specimen lot, by globally changing the location

Movement Control

User can record an object movement

User can record the person (persons, group, department) responsible for an object move

User can record the purpose of an object move

User can record the date of an object move

User can record the method of an object move

User can view a history of an object's movements

Storage Location

User can create and maintain a controlled list of storage and display locations
