Reporting Requirements - Release 1.2

Overview

Reporting is the process of querying the system using specified criteria, and having results returned in a specific format.

This page describes a scope of work for one development sprint.

Must Have for Release 1.2

System Administrator May Create a New Report Format

A system administrator (or anyone with backend-type access) can access the Jasper reports iReport interface and create a new report format. A list of sample reports to create for the CollectionSpace default configuration is available on the Proposed Reports by Procedure page.

System Administrator May Run a Report

A system administrator (or anyone with backend-type access) can access the Jasper report interface and run a canned report.

System administrator may run a canned report

  • User can run a canned report via the CSpace UI
  • User can export search results as a report
