PFA staff image handling workflows

Initial ideas based on deployment team conversation on July 16, 2013.  This is fairly high level and will need elaboration by PFA staff and adjustment.

  1. Cataloging staff create Document (collection object) record, plus associated authority records as needed
  2. Cataloging staff put physical documents for digitization into digitization staff queue.
  3. Digitization staff scan document pages and assign file names in the same way as they do currently.
  4. Digitization staff searches for CollectionSpace Document record.  (What is the best way to do this?) 
    1. Document numbering is important
  5. Digitization staff uses (secondary tab or right panel button?) to attach page images as Media Handling records.
    1. Lots of details to be ironed out here.  Do they need to be attached in a certain order?  How does pagination get handled in general? How do file names get created.
  6. Media Handling record will be enhanced with new fields as needed.  Also, event handler will grab filename and parse it into the MH Identification Number field.  Might have to handle pagination here too.  It's possible that an event handler here will also be responsible for sending derivative images to the CineFiles web site (as discussed elsewhere).
