Overview
User can add structured dates to an object, procedural, vocabulary, or other type of record. Structured dated are represented in the UI by a "double calendar" icon; selecting this icon will bring up the nine date information fields required by the Spectrum documentation standard:
Date Schema Limited for Release 1.5
The "date text" field should appear in the UI once the date interface is closed.
Must Have for Release 1.5
- User can add a structured date to one field via the pop-up interface: Cataloging > Object Production Information > Object Production Date (CSPACE-2210)
- User can add BCE dates
Nice to Have for Release 1.5
- Date text field will auto-generate based on specified patterns
- User can add structured dates to additional fields:
- Cataloging > Object description information > Content - date
- Cataloging > Object description information > Inscription content > Inscription date
- Cataloging > Object description information > Inscription Description > Inscription date
- Cataloging > Object history and association information > Associated date
Out of Scope for Release 1.5
- User can add structured dates to fields outside the cataloging schema
