The CollectionSpace platform is built upon Nuxeo, an open-source content management system.

Service architecture: Apache Tomcat and the relational database PostgreSQL

Server-side interface: Java

Client-side (or user) interface: HTML and Javascript (React.js).

Schema: Defined using XML
