We will need to provide two interfaces to advanced search on Cataloging Objects, a simple advanced search and a more advanced advanced search (allowing search on more terms):

Simple Query

Perform Searches on:

Cataloging Object Fields:

• Cataloging Object's Reference Number
• Cataloging Object's Field Collection Location Verbatim
• Cataloging Object's Field Location Country
• Cataloging Object's Field Location State
• Cataloging Object's Field Collection Collector

Related Records Fields:

• Genus Species Subspecies - contains, begins with, or equals
• Habitat/Host

  Habitat and Host fields do not currently exist in any schema, these will have to be mapped somewhere or added.

Sort by:

Cataloging Object Fields:

• State/Prov, County, Locality
• Collector, Year

Related Records Fields

• Family, Scientific Name
