Definition
The process of querying the system using specified criteria, and having results returned that meet those criteria.
Requirements
The system should allow the user to:
- Create search strings using Boolean logic
- Perform basic keyword searches, or construct complex searches
- Create range searches (e.g. for all artifacts created between 1900-1931)
- Perform wildcard searches
- Save search strings and/or search results
- Personalize search result sort order and display method
