Create New Intake Record with Choice of Entry Number Patterns
User Story
When creating a new Intake record, the user may assign the record the next available entry number from a list of possible entry number sequences. This number can be written over by the user.
This story is not about:
- Defining ID patterns.
- The process by which an ID pattern is associated to a field on a form.
- Validating user-entered field values for format or uniqueness.
Default identification number sequences for release 0.3 (note: the list of choices should include sample pattern numbers, not the next available pattern number):
