Create New Acquisition Record with Auto-filled Acquisition Reference Number
User Story
When creating a new Acquisition record, the next available value in the default acquisition reference number sequence will be auto-filled in the form in the acquisition reference number field. This number can be edited by the user.
This story is not about:
- Defining ID patterns.
- Choosing ID patterns.
- The process by which an ID pattern is associated to a field on a form.
- Validating user-entered field values for format or uniqueness.
Default identification number sequence for release 0.2:
First new Acquisition record created: 2009.1
Second new Acquisition record created: 2009.2
Etc.
