    We recommend that self-hosted clients stay as current as possible with new releases. New releases of CollectionSpace are planned 2-3 times per year. Minimizing customizations will make this process easier. The following pages provide instructions for upgrading CollectionSpace for local administrators of self-hosted installations of CollectionSpace:

     

    This documentation is for institutions that self-host CollectionSpace. If you host CollectionSpace, installation, upgrades, and configurations are handled by your hosting provider.

    Lyrasis-hosted clients with standard installations will be updated automatically within 4-6 weeks of each release. Instructions on this page apply only to self-hosted users of CollectionSpace.
