CollectionSpace tentatively plans two releases a calendar year. Releases are based on our roadmap which is developed in collaboration with community members, the CollectionSpace Program Manager, and the CollectionSpace Technical Lead.

Version 5.2
The version 5.2 release includes upgrades to service layer components, new (to version 5) profiles, enhancements to reporting and batch processing, and many bug fixes.
Version 5.1
This version 5.1 release includes new Use of Collections procedures, infrastructure improvements to support expanded use of Elasticsearch, integration with OpenSeadragon for image pan/zoom, and numerous bug fixes.
Version 5.0
CollectionSpace v5.0 introduces a new underlying UI framework used for the development of the CollectionSpace user interface.  The new framework is based on the React.js JavaScript library for building user interfaces.  We hope that basing our UI on the React.js library will allow for faster, simpler development and customization of CollectionSpace's user interface.
