Collection Browser landing page

  • A carousel with featured items
  • Access to a variety of browsing methods

Browse All page

  • All categories (Artifact classes) are displayed. This allows user to drill down into the categories to explore the collection.
  • Filter is collapsed by default.
  • For each artifact class, displays a randomly selected image of an artifact from the artifact class, artifact class name, and truncated list of work types
  • When user clicks an artifact class, display the corresponding sub-categories page (Work types)

  • Can be accessed anywhere within the collection browser

Index


Search results page will look similar to the Browse All page layout. The results will show the related media thumbnail image and use the text from their respective caption fields.

  • The object fields below correspond to the fields listed in object schema page.
    • record label - Caption
    • Description - Distinguishing features
    • Accession number - Object number
    • Collection category - Responsible department (take first value)
    • Artifact class - Artifact class
    • Work type - Work type
    • Overall dimensions - Dimensions summary (take first value)
    • Creation date - Production date (iff Date association=="Creation") (take first value)
    • Material - Material (multiple values)
  • The related entities/productions column below corresponds to the following fields listed in authority term schema page.
    • Related entities
      • Object production entity (multiple values)
        • Display name - Object production entity
        • lifespan (begin date to end date) - (Birth/founding date to Death/dissolution date) Ignore for now
        • relationship type - Object production entity type
      • Content entity (multiple values)
        • Display name - Content entity
        • lifespan (begin date to end date) - (Birth/founding date to Death/dissolution date) Ignore for now
        • relationship type - Content entity type
    • Related productions
      • Content work (multiple values)
        • Display name - Content work

Similar to Collection Details page but lacking a media representation. Also, instead of a Related entity column there will be a Related object column.
