Summary Fields

Introduction

The summary fields page includes details about which fields should appear in various "summary" instances, including page headers, sidebars, search results, and secondary tabs. The fields listed below are for the default CollectionSpace configuration.

In the below summaries, where "Primary value of Field Name 1 or Field Name 2" is noted; the preferred behavior is that the system always display the primary value of Field Name 1 in the summary, and if there is no Field Name 1 value, then display the primary value of Field Name 2 (e.g. Title and Object name, Acquisition source and Owner).

In order to determine the mapping from objectName and objectNumber properties to actual field element names used in the schemae (also called objectNameProperty and objectNumberProperty ) check this document, attached to this page: http://wiki.collectionspace.org/download/attachments/40271914/Metafield+mappings.xls In that spreadsheet, Number maps to objectNumber, and Title maps to objectName.
