  1. Inactivate term record
    1. User selects Inactive from Record Status dropdown (top of record)
    2. Confirmation message: Are you sure you want to inactivate this record?
    3. On confirmation, record is taken to inactive/read-only status

  2. Re-activate term record
    1. User selects Active from Record Status dropdown (top of record)
    2. Confirmation message: Are you sure you want to activate this record?
    3. On confirmation, record is take to active status with appropriate write or delete status

  3. Search for inactive vocabulary term - Keyword Search Scenario 1 - future
    1. User has inactivated the term John Smith
    2. User uses keyword search (top right) for John Smith
    3. Search does not return record for John Smith

  4. Search for inactive vocabulary term - Keyword Search Scenario 2 - good for now
    1. User has inactivated the term John Smith
    2. User uses keyword search (top right) for John Smith
    3. Search returns record for John Smith
    4. User selects John Smith, on load record is inactive/read-only
  5. Search for inactive vocabulary term - Advanced Search Scenario 1 - future
    1. User has inactivated the term John Smith
    2. User navigates to advanced Person search
    3. User selects "inlclude inactive records in search results"
    4. User searches for John Smith
    5. Search returns record for John Smith

  6. Search for inactive vocabulary term - Advanced Search Scenario 2 - good for now
    1. User has inactivated the term John Smith
    2. User uses advanced Person search for John Smith
      1. Note: this will require an alternate config for the auto-complete widget that allows inactivated terms to be selected
    3. Search returns record for John Smith
    4. User selects John Smith, on load record is inactive/read-only

  7. Search for inactive vocabulary term - Advanced Search Scenario 3 - not preferred
    1. User has inactivated the term John Smith
    2. User uses advanced Person search for John Smith
    3. Search does not return record for John Smith
  8. Search for inactive vocabulary term - Predictive Text Search
    1. User has inactivated the term John Smith
    2. User enters John Smith into a field pointing to the Person authority
    3. The term John Smith is returned, is greyed out and unclickable
