The process for upgrading to new versions of CollectionSpace needs to include a procedure for maintaining customizations and configurations that collections have deployed. These could include schema changes, user interface changes, custom reports, and application plug-ins. Obviously it is not possible to promise that nothing would break (please allow the double negative!) Use the green-yellow-red metaphor to rank customizations and support for upgrades.
